Hello again!
I apologize for all the e-mails lately...but I just wanted to remind everyone that we are getting down to the deadline for expressing our support for SB 246. I also wanted to call your attention to the new sample letter posted on our website (http://www.paclac.org/policy/policyCurrent.htm) specifically geared towards the Assembly Appropriations committee for Thursday's vote.
Today and tomorrow are critical days to send faxes and make phone calls to ask the Assembly Appropriations committee to VOTE SB 246 OUT OF THE SUSPENSE FILE.
If you have any questions about how to initiate communication with your legislators please call PAC/LAC today or tomorrow and Jennifer, Anya, or myself will be happy to help you tailor your message or practice a mock phone call.
Many of the Assembly Appropriations committee members are from the Southern California area. If you live in any of the following legislators' districts I urge you to pick up the phone and say hello - being a constituent carries much weight!
