Strategic Plan

The PAC/LAC strategic plan, 2010-2013 provides direction and framework for organization growth, management effectiveness, accountability, improved strategic partnerships and resource mobilization. The plan builds on the strategic advantages and achievements over the past two decades as well as the opportunities and challenges in the maternal and child health environment to support the organization’s mission of improving perinatal health outcomes.

Strategic Goals

  • Diversify funding sources to ensure PAC/LAC’s sustainability and growth: PAC/LAC’s goal is to become a high performing social enterprise that is not dependent on any one funding source; rather, it intends to form strategic alliances, identify multiple funding  streams and offer a range of services that ensure sustainability and growth
  • To assume educational leadership to ensure continuous improvement in perinatal and neonatal quality of care in state and local health systems. PAC/LAC intends to use its expertise and experience in bringing high quality education to every level of the health care system. The goal is to build organizational learning environment that support continuous improvement in quality of care across California
  • Promote, develop and implement evidence based quality improvement initiatives to ensure high standards of perinatal and neonatal quality of care. PAC/LAC intends to use its strategic planning, program design, research and evaluation expertise to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
