Research and evaluation are central to program development, performance improvement and accountability. PAC/LAC is committed to applying scientific knowledge and evidence based practices to program design and continuous quality improvement.

One of our fundamental premise (foundational principle/belief) is that health data and information lack value until they are used for decision making, improved evidence based practices, quality improvement (QI) and program development. We have two decades of experience in analyzing and interpreting large data sets, demystifying them and making it accessible to hospitals for identifying quality improvement opportunities and launching QI initiatives. We provide strategic and management consulting to health care organizations for the development of quality improvement programs. We specialize in developing logic models, process mapping and Plan, Do, Study, Act (PDSA) approach.

PAC/LAC has extensive expertise in evaluation design. We conduct formative, process, outcome and impact evaluation. We specialize in a wide range of services: literature review, qualitative data collection and analysis that includes key informant interviews, conducting focus groups, surveys and participant observation, transcript coding, content analysis and recursive abstraction; quantitative data collection and analysis that includes sampling, survey design, descriptive and inferential analysis; and quality assurance of data.
