In 2003, PAC/LAC’s research staff took part in assessing Los Angeles County’s home visitation landscape. PAC/LAC also served as a consulting evaluator for a First 5 LA-funded Healthy Babies/Happy Moms Program – a community health endeavor under Citrus Valley Health Partners, encompassing insurance enrollment, community outreach, health promotion, prenatal care and aligning young children and their families with medical homes. Some of PAC/LAC’s services included a community needs assessment, methodology redesigns, data analysis, and program quality improvement.

As an external evaluator in 2005 for a school readiness program implemented by Children’s Institute International, PAC/LAC provided an evaluation design, form development, and also data management infrastructure development. A collaboration between Rosemont and Union Avenue elementary schools, it sought to provide school readiness enrichment services to children and their parents, through a myriad of activities which included case management, a kindergarten-based transition program, and GED coursework for adults.
