Member of The Year Award: Each Year, PAC/LAC honors one of its members by awarding him/her with the Member of The Year Award. This award recognized individuals who display remarkable dedication and commitment to improving pregnancy outcomes not only in their facility, but in the entire PAC/LAC community. Past member of the year awardees have demonstrated remarkable determination and enthusiasm in all aspects of their work and have successfully upheld PAC/LAC's mission to "improve perinatal healthcare outcomes by providing leadership, education and support to professionals and systems caring for women and their families." Nominees must be current PAC/LAC members in order to be considered for this award.

Ellen R. Silver Award for Nurse Leadership: Each Year, PAC/LAC honors a nurse who has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities at both the hospital and community level. This award honors those nurses who have gone above and beyond their position requirements and have dedicated time and effort towards quality improvement projects, committees and collaborative in their hospital and community. The nurse leader demonstrates remarkable initiative and determination in his/her position and works vigorously to improve health outcomes for mothers and babies in their facility and community. Nominees do not have to be PAC/LAC members in order to be considered for this award.

Nominate yourself or a colleague:If you wish to nominate yourself or a colleague for a PAC/LAC Award, please send an email to info@paclac.org including the following information: Award name, nominee name, nominee job title and hospital. Also please include a summary of why this person deserves the award, past achievements, awards, success stories and any other pertinent information. All awardees will receive a full scholarship to the PAC/LAC annual 2 day conference as well as podium recognition, a page in the syllabus honoring their achievements, a write up on the PAC/LAC website for the full year and an engraved plaque.
