Topics will include the most recent epidemiologic basic science and clinical research findings about pregestational diabetes in pregnancy and gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). The meeting will focus on three "life stages": the pre-pregnancy and periconceptional period, mid-late pregnancy, and the postpartum period including the implications of intrauterine exposure on infant and child health outcomes.
